Drive Thru Farm

I have always been enchanted with this farm that has a road running through it betwixt the barn and the sheds that are on the far side of it and the farmhouse which is mostly obscured by the barn to the right of the trees. I have photographed the location many a time during the day, never getting anything I was happy with. How about a night shot then? So knowing that I wanted to photograph it at night and have the streak of my tail lights through the image area, I contacted the owner who was kind enough to lend me his children. We connected on our cell phones so that they could release the shutter as I approached the frame of the image. It took a couple of tries to get the timing and speed down but in the end worked just perfectly. The sheds and trees on the far side of the road are lighted by my headlights as I sped through the farm!
